I can't stop thinking about it either. I've never been on the Galileo before. When Sara told me the ship moves, I got even more excited. This morning as Jill and I were getting ready for the day (right before we caught the bus) I was talking about the upcoming mission again. Jill smiled and said, "Today is Friday's Friday Eve Eve. Just think of that."
"What?" My mind couldn't grasp what she'd just said.
"Friday's Friday," Jill said slowly. "Thursday. Friday's Friday Eve. Wednesday. Friday's Friday Eve Eve- today!"
So I guess that makes Monday Friday's Friday Eve Eve Eve. Tell that to someone next week when they groan about Monday.
Melanie is going to the Space Center on Friday too!! She doesn't know what ship she will be on but her mission is "A Cry in the Dark".
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome even though we probably won't be there at the same time. I don't know what my mission is. Good luck Mel and class! My guess is she'll be on the Magellan or the Voyager. Will this be her first time going?
ReplyDeleteOkay, scratch the Magellan and add the Odyssey. The Space Center website says "Cry in the Dark" is currently being done on Odyssey and Voyager. Also depending on how big her class is she may get to be on the Phoenix. Let me know how it goes! I want to hear everything! Write me a letter Mel and I will write back about my mission!
ReplyDeleteMelanie is a Security guard on the Voyager. Good luck on your mission! :^}
