I haven't blogged in a while. Figured a post was due, even though I don't have much to say.
Cleaning checks tomorrow. (Or in other words, in about 9 hours.) Our apartment is clean. The living room is particularly impressive, given our sucky vacuum (or not sucky, depending on how you look at it).
General conference last weekend was great! Jennifer and I spent the weekend with my family in Lehi, which was a lot of fun. :) People are still talking about the 18/19 announcement. (Which reminds me, I plan to join the hordes of young women flocking to their bishops to get started on their mission papers...soon. Mom and Dad hinted the sooner the better, so they could get me some practical stuff for it this Christmas.)
Gotta love my mom and dad.
I had a fiesta today with my Spanish conversation class. Jennifer brought the taco meat and guacamole I signed up for and then forgot, and stayed to talk and eat. I'll miss that class when it's over, which is next week, since it's only a block class (half a semester).
November is novel-writing month, when many ambitious souls attempt to write an entire novel in a month. I've never participated, but I think I want to try it this year. I just need a good idea to get me started brainstorming. Any suggestions? I have a lot of half-baked stories I plan on finishing someday, but I want to try something totally new for this. Maybe I'll write a romance novel...
Ha. That was a test. If you didn't laugh, you don't know me as well as you thought you did.
I'll have to admit I did a double take on the romance novel line. It is good to see an update from you.
ReplyDeleteLove you, Mom. :)
