Opening Credits

I never thought much about keeping a blog until I got an assignment from a journalism class to keep one. (It's not this one.) Now, I think I'll give it a try.

But before I do anything, I feel honor-bound to give you some background on me, so you may better understand any biases or narrow-mindedness I may exhibit later on.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I go to BYU. I want to be a print journalist when I grow up- a good one, one people will recognize as someone they can trust.

I love reading and writing. I've kept dogs, cats, turtles, fish, and mice. I have two brothers and a sister and great parents.

Though this is a blog, and sometimes people tend to put very personal stuff on the Internet (heaven knows why), I will strive to always remember this is NOT my personal journal. For the most part, I expect to keep my thoughts broad and general and my stories pure fiction fun.
